In pictures – ‘Dalquharran Dash & Dander’

Last month members of the local community came together to take part in the very first Dalquharran Dash & Dander, marking the start of the annual Dailly Village Fête on Saturday 18 May.

This fun-filled community event was organised in partnership with the Dailly Community Development Trust and the Dailly Community Council.

It was brilliant seeing so many faces gathered for a day of fun and fitness. Participants had the option to join The Dash – a 5.5KM run along the Dalquharran path network’s red route – or The Dander – a leisurely 3.5km walk along its yellow route. Both paths offered stunning views and a great way to experience the natural beauty of our area.

As runners and walkers crossed the finish line, they were greeted with a special token to exchange for a pack of our delicious We hae meat skinny square sausage.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, we hope you enjoyed your well-earned reward and day celebrating the fête. Here’s to many more events that bring our community together and celebrate the spirit of Dailly.
