Countdown to ‘Dalquharran Dash & Dander’ fun run, just one week to go!

At We hae meat, our commitments go beyond producing quality meat products at affordable prices. We are dedicated to making a positive and lasting impact on our local community and are thrilled to announce the launch of the Dalquharran Dash & Dander, a community fun run taking place along the picturesque Dalquharran Path Network to kick off this year’s Dailly Village Fête on Saturday, May 18th at 9am.

In collaboration with the Dailly Community Development Trust and the Dailly Community Council, the event is open to participants of all ages and abilities. We extend a warm invitation to individuals, community groups, families and four legged friends to sign up for either The Dash – a 5.5km run along the path network’s red route, or The Dander – a 3.5km relaxed walk along its yellow route.

Upon completing your chosen route, you will be awarded a token to exchange for a pack of our renowned skinny square sausages, available in Dailly Village during the Fête, a small reward for a mighty achievement.

Last year we officially opened the Dalquharran Path Network, after clearing overgrown vegetation, surfacing paths, installing user friendly signage and way finders and more recently wheelchair-accessible picnic benches.  It has quickly become a favourite walking and running route for locals.

Participation in the Dash & Dander is free and open to all. Additionally, participants are also welcome to use the fun run as an opportunity to fundraise for their community group or a charity of their choice. Get ready to lace up your shoes and join us for the first-ever Dalquharran Dash & Dander.
