We hae meat wins big at Family Business Awards

We are thrilled to share some exciting news - We hae meat has won not one, but two awards at The Herald Scottish Family Business Awards 2023.

We hae meat was named Green Family Business of the Year and Small-Medium Family Business of the Year at the Awards in Glasgow.

The judges were unanimous in their recognition that energy efficiency is at the heart of everything we do at We hae meat. The panel commented: “We hae meat are not just paying lip service to an ESG agenda. They have been early adopters in a range of areas which has paid dividends for them in recent years given soaring energy costs.  Overall, an outstanding entry meeting all the criteria for the Green Family Business of the Year category.

“We hae meat have also shown a tenacity to maintain their family business values in the face of many environmental, political, and economical challenges in recent years. Demonstrating a strong sense of business innovation and diversification, they have invested in technological development and not been afraid to expand into new products, despite any initial downturn and have galvanised and grown their business successfully.  We can see a strong future for We hae meat.”

It is an honour to receive this recognition. Both awards are a testament to the efforts of our dedicated team and an acknowledgement of our commitment to excellence and sustainability.
